Nick posted this myspace: Hey everybody that reads this, I just had dinner with rob and pete and well, im not in the band anymore. They are going into rehersals tommorow with leah, she just finished touring with the raveonettes and is super nice and cool. They presented it to me like they need a break, i took it as i am fired again and to be honoust with you i respect thier descision. I dont make it easy for them, i hope to be able to play with them again in the futre as a reuinion as there is really no bad feeling other than we all wanna be happy and rite now we are not. Maybe playing drums for brmc all the time is not my calling and there is something else im supposed to do. we will see, Im sorry to all ther fans and know that the drums are in good hands with leah. find her at http://www.myspace.com/deadcombosound My best hope to see you soon. Nick

Leah has been at the last few shows. They are practicing this week with her apparently. All the shows in Europe will be with LEAH. And then follows the tour with Stone Temple Pilots. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlL4pv3jyHU

Fuck, I thought this was some kind of weird joke at first. This is really sad news, I think they are a three-piece. Hopefully he shall return in the future.

Ok - Iīve just gotten up and this is the first thing I see today. What a nice way to start the day :-/ To be honest - I sometimes barely noticed him for the fact that he didnīt really participate in anything. I had the feeling he was only in the band when they were playing a gig. But you canīt change band members as far as Iīm concerned. It will not be the same band anymore. I just hope they will go on. But I know how much they love making music together so Iīm pretty sure they will.

Spell check? Sounds more like he is in a bit of a shock and who think of stuff like spell check in situations like this. I think he was a big part of the BRMC sound - a talented drummer. And judging by the one song on his MySpace profile, he is a talented singer (what a great voice) and songwriter too. Hopefully he will return in connection with BRMC - though if he thinks he has been sacked..well would you return to a "work" you have been sacked from??
